Lollypop Ink was created after my eye opening experience of being a nanny. As a nanny I learned so much more then any “regular” job. Patience is a skill we must master. It is not just given to us. Temper Tantrums really are funny. When standing your ground on an issue with a 2 year old the 2 year old will always win. Rocking a baby to sleep is the greatest feeling.

I was very lucky I have worked with great families. They as a whole have inspired me to continue on with my love for their children. So this is to all of you:

Sophie showed me the beauty of laughter and snuggling.

August showed me a box is not just a box. You can make anything turn into what you want.

Jay and Joe taught me two is better then one.

Joe and Annabelle introduced me to all the wonders that lay outside the window.

Shane, Julia, Irene, and the Baby made me understand four kids is a lot of work, but always worth it.

Joshua and Laurie they taught something most of the world has yet to understand. Both these children had special needs and it made me realize how beautiful a soul is when you look past the obvious.

Atticus and Esme taught me communication is so much more than just words.

Kimberly, proved kids are smarter then me.

Lollypop Ink comes from the love of each one of these children, love for art and self expression. Some times it was easy and others it was hard, but to watch a child and see the world through their eyes is truly amazing. They love without fear and trust without doubt.
