I’ve
been drawing for as long as I can remember. At the age of nine I
started taking classes in the summer, studying under painter/muralist
Dennis Mcgonagle. I’ve Studied art at Long Beach State, Rio
Hondo, and Fullerton College. I’ve been tattooing for almost
four years. Sal Gomez was nice enough to let me get my foot in the
door of this awesome industry and the crew at Trigger Happy Tattoo
(Dave Brewer, Robbie Cooper, Darin Slavik, and Jon Kelly) show me
something new everyday. At first I bounced around more than a few
shops in Hollywood for a couple years but finally landed at the
shop i’m at now. Working at Trigger Happy has been a goal
of mine since I started tattooing. The whole crew is artistically
driven and we always striving for the next step forward.

Justin C. Sanchez
 |
Born
and raised in art community Santa Fe, New Mexico, Justin was immersed
in art culture at a early age. His artistic needs were nurtured by
his two loving parents and would often prefer the tangible glow of
painting and sculpture to video games and television. In middle school
he was mentored by several great artist who forced him to respect
the patience and skill required for quill pen drawing and watercolor.
In his early twenties Justin educated himself in art history and received
an Associates in Advertising Art from the Art Center Design College.
From there he worked with launching a small comic book company, his
own video production company, and worked for three years in a stained
glass art studio as Head Designer/Fabricator.
Currently Justin resides in Seattle Washington and has just opened
his own tattoo studio, Ink Bomb Tattoo, on Highway 99. When not permanently
adorning his clients with beautiful skin art, Justin can be found
working on his side projects, which include his own comic book title,
freelance graphic design, abstract oil and acrylic paintings, children's
book illustrations, and custom muralism. Justin is always looking
for new artistic challenges, and looks forward to the excitement body
modification has to offer. |
